Dez Bryant Signs With Saints

Dez Bryant has agreed to a contract for the remainder of the season with the New Orleans Saints.

"Listen, Dez Bryant has been a hell of a player in this league for a long time".

Here's how the rest of Twitter responded to the signing. Having a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback in Drew Brees throwing him the ball can't hurt either. "I look forward to working with him". In Week 13, Dez will be returning to Dallas when the Cowboys host the Saints.

Bryant's eight year career in Dallas had its fair share of drama, but also some really good production as well.

Bryant arrives Thursday morning, and should immediately help the Saints' passing attack once he's up to speed on the offense given New Orleans has lacked a viable No. 2 wide receiver opposite Michael Thomas through nine games.

Bryant, who's 30 years old, maintained solid production throughout his career with the Cowboys prior to being released this offseason. Veteran Ted Ginn Jr. was placed on injured reserve last month with a knee injury, and Cameron Meredith hasn't panned out as hoped since joining the team as a restricted free agent, with zero targets over the past three games.

Besides Garrett, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was also excited to see Bryant get a new job.

Bryant now enhances what was already a very risky Saints offense, giving them one of the NFL's best red zone weapons since he came into the league in 2010.

Bryant's return to the National Football League with the Saints means he could play against his former club in a few weeks.

"It's big for him, man", Crawford said, via PFT. I think for any new guy coming in, especially a skill player, it's new verbiage. Seems like a real good opportunity for him.

"I don't know how much carryover there will be from what he had in Dallas - it's probably not a lot - so that's a process".
