Liverpool lose their mojo to make Champions League last 16 a struggle

James Milner was left bemused by Liverpool's inability to make the most of their chances in Tuesday's shock 2-0 Champions League loss to Red Star Belgrade.

Liverpool have lost both away games in group C and next face Paris Saint-Germain - who drew 1-1 with Napoli last night and are third in the group, one point behind Liverpool - in France on November 28. It was reported that a dispute between Buvač and Klopp was the reason behind his decision to leave, but it remains unclear.

Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren will be the most likely albeit very late cameos coming off the Liverpool bench, barring any ill-timed injury situations.

"We have to admit - congratulations Red Star, it was well deserved".

"Napoli came here and found it tough as well, so it's a tough place to come, but we expected that".

As it happens, Liverpool can afford to draw in Paris and still qualify from the group and you could see them beating many of Europe's top sides over two legs, as they showed past year.

The Reds had more than 80% of the possession and hit the woodwork twice in the second half but could not score as Red Star recorded their 10th clean sheet in their last 15 home games in Europe.

Stop What You're Doing: There's a Breaking Bad Movie in the Works
We don't know if anyone from the original show will be back to reprise their roles. Vince Gilligan also serves as a co-creator and executive producer on that series.

Bears at Bills: Sal's keys, notes and stats
The Bears are a good team, and good teams don't always do to bad teams what the Bears did to the Bills on Sunday. We've been open with the guards and communicating with them, and when the time comes, we'll let them know first.

Rockstar Is Addressing RDR2 Camp Issue
There's no way in heck I'm restarting though, given how much of a chore some of the game's minutiae is. Scattered groups of people in the gang started pounding whiskey, singing, dancing, and conversing.

Liverpool ideally need to get a result with a tricky tie away in the French capital to come next before a potential qualification decider at home against Napoli at the end of the group.

Former Arsenal star Nicholas seems to think that the Reds will take all three points with a 2-0 victory. We had moments, we had kind of nearly-chances, the biggest in the last two three minutes and before that not enough.

RED STAR: Borjan 7, Stojkovic 7, Savic 8, Degenek 8, Rodic 8, Srnic 7, Krsticic 7, Jovancic 7, Nabouhane 7, Marin 8, Pavkov 8.

LIVERPOOL: Alisson 6, Alexander-Arnold 5, Matip 5, Van Dijk 5, Robertson 7, Milner 5, Wijnaldum 5, Lallana 5, Mane 6, Salah 6, Sturridge 5.

"The atmosphere, noise-wise, was not a problem for us, but after the second goal they could smell it.

We have to make sure it doesn't happen again".

Robertson accepts they have not been at their best over the last three months and that the high standard they set in the previous campaign is now what they will be judged on. The Reds remain with their Champions League fate in their own hands, now in second place.
