Blizzard Debunks Rumor Of A Diablo 4 Scrapped BlizzCon 2018 Reveal

First gamers cried foul, claiming the game would be terrible, and then ex-Blizzard devs chimed in, criticizing the company. The company has maintained their series of remake and Diablo: Immortal is the newest member to it. This was a marketing disaster more than anything else, and it's one that developers like Microsoft, Bethesda, and Nintendo have shown can be avoided. The studio even used similar phrasing as Blizzard's mobile game announcement, touting Blades as a full Elder Scrolls experience and talking about how far phone technology has come.

Warcraft fans weren't the only ones jumping with excitement at Blizzcon with their other classic franchise, Diablo also serving up some interesting announcements.

Last month, Blizzard said: "we now have multiple teams working on different Diablo projects and we can't wait to tell you all about them. when the time is right".

Strangely, a recent Kotaku report suggests the studio may have been planning some kind of teaser announcement video for Diablo 4 before deciding to hold it. Diablo is an important, tentpole franchise for Blizzard.

"Mobile is the biggest platform in gaming today", Brack said. Not only that, but Brack said Blizzard has plans to support the game for a while after launch. We're only going to release the game when we feel like it is meeting the community's very high standards. Maybe Immortal is a ideal indication of what's to come, or maybe it's not at all.

He says people have contacted him to express their support and to say they have been discriminated against because of their age. Ratelband, a motivational speaker and trainer in neurolinguistic programming, said his parents were dead.

So, unless Blizzard is hiding some kind of surprise announcement in the coming months, Reforged is not a back-door way of announcing new Warcraft games for the moment. "Games like these attract large, harder core mobile audiences in Asia and the Diablo franchise is popular in the US, China, Europe and Korea", he continued.

The backlash is, to a degree, an anger I understand. It added that "While we won't be ready to announce all of our projects, we do intend to share some Diablo-related news with you at the show".

That disappointment doesn't give human beings the right to be toxic to other human beings just for trying to make games, but it does make that feeling of dismissal understandable.

In brief: Blizzard incurred the combined wrath of (most) gamers when the only Diablo title it revealed at BlizzCon was a mobile game called Diablo Immortal. Forcing developers to rush the timeline of a game never helps anything, but those studios have proved even just an unfinished logo is enough. One thing which players maybe happy to see though is some of the background characters might be a bit more fleshed out and involved than they were previously.
