A plane carrying dozens of Canadians flirted with disaster this morning.

Officials say a Fly Jamaica Boeing 757-200 aircraft has overshot the runway at Guyana's main global airport, injuring several people.

Six passengers have been injured after a Canada-bound plane crash-landed in Guyana.

Officials at Fly Jamaica said flight OJ256, which was headed to Toronto, had to make an emergency landing because of a technical problem.
