Georgia moved up a spot to No. 5, putting it just outside the coveted top four spots for teams that will play in the semifinals. In each of the 11 weeks, at least two teams were eliminated, including two - Kentucky and LSU - in Week 10. But the Tigers also have two losses. LSU, which was shut out at home by Alabama and now has two losses on the season, fell just a handful of spots to seventh, while Washington State came in just ahead of the Mountaineers at No. 8.

Simply put, LSU is a good team. Last season after Week 10, there were three teams in the Top 25 that had lost three games. It has a strong defense, but offensively, it's limited at best. We have a new top-four.

Alabama and Clemson are still ranked No. 1 and No. 2 after blowing out their opponents on Saturday, but the shakeups start after that. Losing to Alabama doesn't make it bad, even if it looked hopeless doing so. In terms of just how teams are playing right now, MI might be right behind Alabama and Clemson.

That was a disappointing loss for the Tigers in Baton Rouge, but they ran into a supremely-talented team.

The match will be the called the "The Wayne Rooney Foundation International" and it will be in support of his charitable interests.

This is a simple case of two teams I believe should be swapped in the pecking order. Kyler Murray played great after a couple of early turnovers, but Trey Sermon (206 yards, three touchdowns) was the key to Oklahoma's offense against Texas Tech. But that's a long way from certain considering the Buckeyes are the lowest ranked one-loss team. When it comes to wins, West Virginia has a win over No. 19 Texas; Washington State hasn't beaten a team now in the rankings, though it may have a chance against a ranked Washington team to end the regular season.

As I alluded to in an article yesterday, the Hawkeyes surprisingly still have a lot to play for this season despite being mostly out of the running for the Big Ten West title. It won't take more than one or two mild upsets to have the selection committee sifting through a bunch of two-loss teams to fill the final playoff spot.

You know, I'm one of those people who doesn't think the SEC is overrated. That win has been their defining one all season.
