Warner Bros confirmed that Minerva McGonagall would be appearing in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and said she's being played by actress Fiona Glascott.

As things stand, though, The Crimes of Grindelwald has been deemed "rotten", with the consensus stating that the sequel "has glimmers of the magic familiar to Harry Potter fans, but the story's spell isn't as strong as earlier installments".

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the second of five all-new adventures in J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is being directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling, and produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. "There are so many connections between characters and storylines, past and present, and so many secrets yet to be revealed", Law teased at the beginning of the video.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald starts its global movie rollout on 14 November. The film stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamandar alongside returning stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, and Ezra Miller. Jude Law joins the cast as a young daddy Dumbledore as does Claudia Kim as Nagini with Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange.

Eddie Redmayne, who stars as magical zoologist Newt Scamander, along with Jude Law in his first outing as a young version of Hogwarts School headmaster Albus Dumbledore, walked a red carpet decorated with huge gold-coloured wands. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided world.
