Xiaomi Mi 8 Camera Review | Incredible HDR

Xiaomi Mi 8 Camera Review | Incredible HDR

The Mi 8 Pro was previously launched in China, and soon after, which the company started teasing the global roll-out of the phone, and considering India is one of the most important countries for Xiaomi, we expect the phone will be coming to the country soon. This comes just days after Xiaomi had confirmed that photography features of the Mi Mix 3 would trickle down to the Mi 8 and the Mi Mix 2S.

Devices like the Redmi 5 Plus, Mi Max, Mi Mix, and Redmi Note 4 will not be receiving any major updates, although patches will continue. For selfies, it gets a 20MP front camera upfront.

For taking photos, it packs a 12MP f/1.8 + 12MP f/2.4 dual camera combo at the rear which offers 2X optical zoom and bokeh portrait effects. The Lite provides hardcore performance for value while the Pro mixes in a few advanced technologies like an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared facial recognition system.

As for video, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro's dual-lens camera can shoot up to 4K resolution footage. The Mi 8 SE has already been seen running on Pie on Geekbench, so this leak appears to have some substance to it.
