Kristaps Porzingis uses Instagram to rebut reports

Perhaps David Fizdale forgot, wasn't properly informed or never fully understood that Kristaps Porzingis doesn't send subtle messages.

Since the Knicks did not ink him to a contract extension, Porzingis will become a restricted free agent in July.

Fizdale's comments sparked a three-part Instagram story from Porzingis, who took to social media with pictures of him striding on a track.

Porzingis averaged a career high 22.7 points per game last season. "I'd rather be focused on the day-to-day task with these guys, and when he gets back that'll just be a gift for me". I can see instantly how he fits, but I'm just trying to keep my mind focused on them.

While Fizdale said that Porzingis was "working his butt off", he also noted that the player hadn't yet advanced beyond the light running and shooting that he had been doing before the Knicks started their preseason training. Fizdale said that the Knicks trainers were aware that Porzingis had been running and recommended places for Porzingis to sprint.

The vet Pete Davidson mocked joined him on 'SNL' last night
Crenshaw took the opportunity to make fun of a photo of Davidson: "He looks like if the meth from " Breaking Bad " was a person". And when his cell phone rang, the tone was "Breathin" by Ariana Grande , Davidson's former fiancee.

Dez Bryant won't play Sunday against Bengals
And any doubts about Bryant fitting into the locker room were addressed as well. "I'm always gonna be me, you know, who I am". Bryant has WR3 upside to close out there year, but he'll be a risk/reward fantasy commodity after a long layoff from playing.

Nelson says Scott is afraid to count all votes
In response, Florida Governor Rick Scott filed a lawsuit demanding access to public records related to the counting process. Nelson has not yet conceded to Scott, who now leads by less than 0.2 percent with ballots across the state still uncounted.

Fizdale said he discussed the issue with Porzingis on Friday morning at the team practice facility and that player and coach are now on the same page. It got to him that people would think that. "I might go out with him next time and do some power walking because that got me out of the bed when I saw that". "I don't want to get distracted personally as the coach, anxious about if and when he's coming back. But otherwise, I'm really locked into (the Knicks now available to play)".

"With this group of people that we got here right now, our agendas are on point".

Now nine months removed from ACL surgery, Kristaps Porzingis' return to playing basketball doesn't feel any closer.

That's exactly where the 23-year-old Porzingis was during training camp in late September.
