Steph Curry to miss time after 'encouraging' MRI

Coach Steve Kerr said Curry is set to have an MRI exam on Friday, November 9 (Saturday, November 10, Manila time) after his Warriors lost the two-time MVP to a left adductor strain during the 3rd quarter of their 23-point loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, 134-111, in National Basketball Association action Thursday. Coach Steve Kerr said it doesn't appear to be significant. "But he's not going to play (Saturday)". Kerr also said it will be at least a few days before Curry returns to the hardwood but he does not think this is a long-term injury, per ESPN's Nick Friedell. He's still sore, and it's a strained groin, basically, is the injury.

The Golden State Warriors got blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night, but you can argue this wasn't the biggest story of the night for the two-time defending champs. Curry was then immediately rushed for treatment, where he received his MRI scans.

The Warriors were breathing a collective sigh of relief Friday knowing that the injury could have been worse.

Once you get that tweak on the inside of your thigh and the lateral movement becomes hard. Even the great ones have games where they can't hit a shot, and Thursday night just happened to be that type of game for the Warriors point guard. "So we got to get the movement and the strength back in it before he can go out and play". Kerr is confident that both players will be back on the floor soon. He needs some time on the court.
