Prescott, Elliott propel Cowboys past Eagles

At the end of the evening, Dallas had played perhaps its most complete game of the year and may have exorcised a few demons along the way.

The Eagles were forced to go with backup Chandon Sullivan during Sunday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

How was their offense so successful?

Dallas' first-round pick continued his bid for Defensive Rookie of the Year with a huge performance. Elliott rushed for 151 yards, scored 2 touchdowns, and leaped an Eagles defending during the game. Prescott added nine rushing yards and one rushing TD on six carries.

In most games this season, the Dallas offense would have done something incredibly wrong and given the ball back to the other team with good field position.

Wilson's 23-yard touchdown pass to Lockett with 4:20 left in the third quarter gave the Seahawks their final lead, 21-20. Seattle's decision to call a surprise onside kick down 26-24 with under 10 minutes remaining ended up costing them.

Durant-Green confrontation 'one of most intense' of current era
Kevin Durant had 33 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Warriors before fouling out with 3:46 left in the extra session. It was only a matter of time before Draymond Green , serial provocateur, angered his own team and not just the opposing one.

Although the Cowboys front seven kept the Eagles' running backs in check, Carson Wentz was able to move the ball up and down the field easily, racking up 360 passing yards. The biggest stops came when the Eagles were down seven on their second to last drive of the game.

Now, following the Cowboys' win over the Eagles, Aikman thinks they're going to win the NFC East.

In his final season at Boise State, Leighton Vander Esch led the Broncos with 141 combined tackles.

Wentz connected with Nelson Agholor on a 51-yard strike and later threw the second touchdown of the game to Ertz, this time from 1 yard out to quickly tie the game at 20. He wouldn't say it was a must-win and wouldn't agree that Dallas was desperate for a victory. The Cowboys will hope to get back to a.500 win percentage with a win against the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday at one o'clock in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
