Rightwing author Jerome Corsi: I expect Mueller to indict me

Reuters, citing an unnamed source, first reported Tuesday that questions from special counsel Robert Mueller to Trump relates only to Moscow's involvement in the presidential election - and not to whether Trump may have tried to obstruct the Russian Federation probe.

Corsi is one of several Stone associates who have been questioned by investigators as Mueller probes Stone's connections with WikiLeaks.

Farage and his team denied Corsi's allegations and told reporters that he has not been contacted by the special counsel.

On Monday, Corsi - a former Infowars editor, said in a livestreamed video that he expects to be charged with perjury despite spending 40 hours in discussions with prosecutors, and that the talks had "all blown up", according to Politico.

NBC News reported in late October that Mueller was investigating whether Corsi knew that WikiLeaks had obtained emails stolen by Russian hackers and whether he shared this information with Roger Stone.

Corsi met with Mueller's team for the first time on September 7 after receiving a subpoena for the same on August 28.

At times, the 72-year old conspiracy theorist went out of his way to detail his cooperation with the Mueller probe, saying that he handed over "two computers I used throughout the 2016 [Republican] convention" and "signed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation permission to look at all my email accounts".

"I fully anticipate that in the next few days, I will be indicted by Mueller", he said, as he made a pitch for donations to his legal defence fund.

Corsi said Monday that he had no prior knowledge of Wikileaks' plans and that he "figured out" on his own that Podesta's emails were going to be released.
