BT to strip China's Huawei from core networks, limit 5G access

Huawei's "enhanced packet core" technology is still at the core of EE's 4G network today.

Altice had been working with Huawei since 2016, with a network training programme for the development of a 5G ecosystem in Portugal. As a result, Huawei have not been included in vendor selection for our 5G core.
