Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta rolls out in the US

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta rolls out in the US

The only catch is that the program is only available for those living in Germany and India for now.

To receive the firmware update, you'll need to have registered for the beta program through the Samsung+ app on an unlocked Galaxy Note 9. To begin with, the Korean giant has claimed that it would be rolling out to their Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 devices.

Samsung is prepping a software update for its Galaxy Note 9 and a few other high-end handsets, though what it has in the works is more than just a new build of Android. The highlight of the build is, of course, the bump up to Android 9 Pie as well as Samsung's One UI.

The company has now officially added the Galaxy Note 9 to the roster too and apart from the US, Germany and India are two more countries that have been reportedly confirmed to be part of the this beta test.
