The film, which hit screens on November 29, has touched the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide within seven days of its release. Though a detailed breakup will come later in the day, film trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to the micro-blogging site to share the numbers collected in these countries. It is now the second highest grossing dubbed Hindi film after Baahubali 2 which has amassed a mammoth Rs 500 crore and more.

#2Point0 continues its winning streak. Thursday 20.25 cr, Friday 18 cr, Sat 25 cr, Sun 34 cr, Monday 13.75 cr, Tue 11.50 cr, Wednesday 9.50 cr. It also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles. The actor has already scored a box office hattrick with Gold and Pad Man.

Sharing the news, Karan Johar, who presented the Hindi version of 2.0, wrote on Twitter, "A box office PHENOMENA!"

In his recent interview, Shankar has said that if a proper idea pops up, he is game for "3.0" but the director only prefers Rajinikanth to play any form of Chitti. The film, directed by Shankar, has had huge expectations among fans since "2.0" is a sequel to the blockbuster sci-fi thriller "Enthiran", which released in 2010.
