The video, which has been watched more than 15 million times, shows Cox trailing the girl in his vehicle as she walks part of the five-mile journey in what he says is 36 degree weather.

An Ohio father forced his 10-year-old daughter to walk 5 miles to school after she was kicked off the bus for bullying, and his subsequent anti-bullying message went viral after being posted on social media. Cox said he hopes that any child who watches understands that bullying is not acceptable "everywhere".

The video has been shared more than 340,000 times as of Thursday morning.

"She said 'Daddy, you're going to have to take me to school next week, '" Cox said.

However, the experience seems to have been successful.

"I realized she viewed the privilege of riding the bus and or vehicle rides to and from school as a right and not a privilege", Cox said. "Great lesson, what's next beating your kids so they don't hit [others?]" Sending her alone on a five-mile walk would have been reckless, but as you can see below that's not what happened.
