Nelly Pleads St. Louis Cardinals to Sign Slugger Bryce Harper

Louis rapper and Cardinals fan, was playing with the country duo, and he got a picture with Harper after the show. The Dodgers reportedly sent Magic Johnson, who is part of a group of investors who owns the Dodgers and the current president of basketball operations of the Lakers, to court Harper.

Harper naturally isn't as vocal in the video in which Nelly begs the Cardinals' front office to sign him.

At just 26 years of age, the former National League Rookie of the Year, MVP and six-time All-Star is one of the youngest superstars to ever hit the open market. And that would only begin their countdown until Harper can opt out of what might be the biggest contract in the history of professional sports.
