Epic Games is bringing their own gaming storefront to Android

So far, only three games from other developers are available, but Epic plans to expand the list quickly.

Installation requires elevation but holds no surprises.

KitGuru Says: The Epic Store is shaping up to be more than just a competitor to Steam, potentially offering features absent from its rival. That means that developers get 70% of profits while game and app stores get 30%. Subnautica, an underwater survival game, is now $24.99 on Steam, but Epic Games will give away free copies from December 14th - 27th. Even with its generous revenue split for developers, competing with Steam is going to be an uphill battle for Epic Games. Only five additional games are available for purchase right now with more being listed as "coming soon".

The first of those timed freebies will be Subnautica, which will be available from December 14 to December 27, followed by Super Meat Boy from December 28 to January 10.
