MARVEL Strikes Deal with NINTENDO For Exclusive RPG Game

It's not 100% clear who's publishing the new game but it seem to be Nintendo themselves, which implies they must've had some interesting conversations with Marvel. Also worth noting is that the developer behind the project is that of Team Ninja. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 features an original story focused on the threat posed by Thanos and his Black Order. This unprecedented team of characters must use their unique superpowers to defeat the mad cosmic tyrant Thanos and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order. Get closer to the action by shifting the view to an over-the-shoulder "Heroic Camera" perspective-a series first that offers a more immersive way to play single-player or multiplayer on up to four systems.

"As longtime fans of the franchise, we could not be prouder and more excited to bring back ULTIMATE ALLIANCE with its biggest game yet", said Mike Jones, Vice President & Executive Producer, Marvel Games.

At the 2018 Game Awards, a third entry in the beloved Ultimate Alliance series was revealed, showing off a few hints at the familiar overhead hack-and-slash RPG gameplay.

Additional details about the game will be announced in the future.
