John Legend Calls R. Kelly "Serial Child Rapist"

John Legend Calls R. Kelly

Kelly's former tour manager and personal assistant, Demetrius Smith came clean about his dirty past, saying that he forged documents to change the age of the star's bride, Aaliyah, after he had impregnated her at age 15.

Dream Hampton, who produced the series, replied to Questlove's post to take issue with the Roots member's statement.

"I was so disappointed in him, 'cause I really believed him when he said ... he wasn't doing and messing with Aaliyah", said Smith, who admitted that he's "not proud" of forging the documentation.

However, he did say "I can tell you I loved her".

Questlove took to Twitter to explain why he declined to be interviewed for Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries.

Last night, Lifetime premiered its documentary series titled "Surviving R. Kelly", which looks into the troubled singer's life that the television network describes as "riddled with rumors of abuse, predatory behavior, and pedophilia". "I don´t think he understands girls that are young how impressionable we are and how traumatic these experiences are".

It is unclear who was behind the hack, which emerged on Twitter last month in the style of an advent calendar. Martina Fietz, vice-spokeswoman of the federal government, played down the reach of the attack.

Allen struggles to maintain her composure while recalling the events, and at one point suddenly shuts down and begins to silently cry. "We asked Jay-Z. We asked Dave Chappelle", Hampton said. He initially only asked her to call him daddy during intimate acts, but then required her to address him that way at all times: "Pretty early on he kind of introduced you to everything that he was into". "I went through the labor and I just remember falling so in love with little Rob because he came here so strong", she recalled.

"We should all thank my friend @dreamhampton for her very necessary work to create #SurvivingRKelly".

John Legend who appeared in the final episode of the six-part docuseries made it clear via his Twitter account that he was not interested in protecting a "serial child rapist". "He is the subject of a doc that allows his survivors to be heard...finally". "R. Kelly is someone that we, my generation, should have dealt with a long time ago", Hampton said.
