Christian Bale Thanks 'Satan' for Inspiration to Play Dick Cheney — Golden Globes

Christian Bale made it clear how he feels about former USA vice president Dick Cheney while accepting the Golden Globe for Vice.

During the glamorous ceremony, Bale thanked his director, Adam McKay, joking that the filmmaker chose him because he thought "I have got to find someone who can be completely charisma-free and reviled by everyone, it's got to be Bale". Christian Bale got up on stage at the Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Sunday, and did the usual thanks that most do when they receive an award - spouse, kids, cast, crew, producer, and Satan. "To me, that's honorable", Bale told the publication.

After thanking his wife Sibi Blazic as well as various co-stars from from the film, including Steve Carell, Amy Adams and Sam Rockwell, the actor proceeded to attack both the man he played in the film, Dick Cheney, as well as the current Republican Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell.
