LG Announces First Rollable OLED TV Model

LG Announces First Rollable OLED TV Model

LG Electronics has redefined the television viewing experience with the introduction of the world's first rollable OLED TV at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019. The whole process of retracting and rolling out happens in a few seconds and is quite noseless, and on the subject f durability, LG claims the TV can take as much as 50,000 rolls, and like you know the parts responsible for the movement might fail at any point in time. LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R can transform itself to offer three different viewing options - Full View, Line View and Zero View - allows customers to use the TV in ways that were impossible before the development of OLED technology. The W series in particular impressed us with its separate panel connected by a thin wire to the rest of the TV's electronics (built inside a Dolby Atmos-equipped soundbar), letting users simply hang a almost paper-thin screen on the wall. The idea behind this 65-inch rollable OLED television set is simple: if you don't want to watch the TV, simply press a button and its rollable screen automatically disappear into the stand.

Coming to Line View, the Smart TV is partially unrolled, and users can manage specifics tasks that do not require a TV screen. They also both support WISA, a new wireless standard for multi-channel speaker systems.

Other cool features of the LG Signature OLED TV R include Alexa compatibility and easy syncing with AirPlay 2. The TV space is one area where we haven't seen any new innovations in terms of the design.
