Chrissy Metz speaks out about Alison Brie red carpet moment

Chrissy Metz speaks out about Alison Brie red carpet moment

"If she did happen to use the "other" word, I promise it was 1,000 percent a joke".

For what it's worth, Metz took to Twitter later in the night to refute the claim that she used the expletive.

But, Metz is now shutting down reports she called Brie a "b**ch".

"It's unfortunate people want to say stuff that they don't know is true or not", she told Us Weekly.

The GLOW star chatted with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at the 2019 Golden Globes and revealed how she trains for the role and how long it took her to get there.

In response to other outlets speculating on the drama, Metz tweeted that the conflict was entirely fabricated and that she adores Brie.

Bayern Munich match Chelsea’s asking price for Callum Hudson-Odoi

Oscars 2019: Kevin Hart says he definitely won't return as host
As for whether he'll host this year's Oscars after all, Hart gave a definitive "no" for the first time. He took proudly to social media afterwards to announce it but his elation was short-lived.

When asked about the alleged comment by a Vanity Fair reporter, she reportedly replied, "But why?"

"I don't speak about anyone like that I don't speak like that".

Metz added that Brie is "somebody that I really revere" and shared that she and Brie had "already texted about" the gossip.

"Chrissy has nothing but admiration and respect for Alison and, frankly, every fellow actor who must wade through this much-too-common attempt to create a feud among colleagues", her rep, Cheryl McLean, told USA Today in a statement. "She then referred to Alison as a "babe" and the fun exchange ended. It's more important than ever that we ALL support and love on one another and from my position on that stage, a few feet from Chrissy, it was clear to me that she had nothing but love for Alison". Brie wrote in her Instagram stories along with a photo of her and the "This Is Us" star. Or maybe Chrissy Metz was just kidding?

So, what do you say?

In a statement, a rep for Metz also said: "Chrissy never said that".
