Jose Mourinho Comments On Real Madrid Rumours

The 55-year-old will cover Premier League and Asian Cup games for the broadcaster.

Jose Mourinho has only been out of a job for a few weeks, but he is already set to return to our television screens.

Mourinho, who was sacked by United last month after two-and-a-half years in charge, told Correio da Manha he has no intention of coaching in his native Portugal for the time being.

"When a professional returns or is invited to return to a club it is a tremendous honor".

For now, Santiago Solari seems to have his future up in the air, with Real Madrid in talks with former manager Jose Mourinho.

Reports coming coming out of the tactician's camp revealed on Wednesday night that: "There are no issues over Jose's contract with Manchester United".

"There has been no contact, but they did get in touch with Jose after (Julen) Lopetegui was dismissed (in late October)", the Mail reports the source as saying.

By contrast, Higuain netted 38 times in just 42 appearances for Napoli when managed by Sarri in the 2015-16 campaign. He previously spent six years at Real Madrid before starting his career at River Plate in Argentina.

On Facebook he wrote: "I was gassed with my friend, my wife, and at some point I was taken over by anger, so yes I acted badly". One protester, Maxime Nicolle called it the "tax collector's referendum". "I have the anger of the people in me", he said.

The likes of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have looked like completely different players under the Norwegian interim boss, and it will be fascinating to hear what Mourinho has to say about their dramatic upturn in form.

"I have learned that, when you leave a club, you don't go around talking about it, you don't wash your dirty laundry in public".

Hopefully, Mourinho will take out time and speak about his reign at United during the tournament in the United Arab Emirates, which kicked-off on January 5.

Mourinho began his coaching career in 2000 at Benfica but was in charge for only nine games before spells at Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

However, Real president Florentino Perez remains a fan and with the club 10 points behind La Liga leaders Barca and outside the Champions League places pressure is mounting on Solari, who could be relieved of his duties before his contract expires at the end of the season.

It was suggested that Mourinho, whose very first managerial role came at Benfica, could head back to Portugal, but he insists that will not be the case.
