Christian Bale in outfit blunder at the Critics' Choice Awards

"Amy Adams couldn't even win a Critics' Choice Award without f*****g tying".

The 24th Annual Critics' Choice Awards, hosted by Taye Diggs, handed out its awards on Sunday night at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif., but before the statues were handed out, Tinseltown's best and brightest walked the red carpet.

Christian Bale sported a lovely new black suit at the Critics' Choice Awards last night, showing off his trim physique after stacking it on to play U.S. vice president Dick Cheney in Vice.

She then thanked "magical filmmaker and human" Bradley Cooper, and said she would always "cherish" the experience of working with him.

Colman, who did not attend the ceremony, picked up the best comedy actress prize ahead of fellow Brit, Mary Poppins Returns star Emily Blunt.

Taking to Twitter, the 32-year-old wrote: 'I am so honoured and blessed to have won both Best Song and Best Actress alongside Glenn Close this evening.

And comedy thriller Killing Eve was also recognised, with star Sandra Oh named best actress in a drama series.

After winning two awards at the Critics' Choice Awards, the musician learned that her beloved horse Arabella was dying.

"Crazy Rich Asians" won in the Best Comedy category, beating out "The Favourite" and "The Death of Stalin", among others.
