Uri Day 3 in overseas

Uri stars Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam hosted a special screening of their film in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues from the industry.

This week two much-anticipated films made to the theatres "The Accidental Prime Minister and URI: The Surgical Strike". The film is directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies. While the former is a biopic based on India's former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and gives us a glimpse of the scenario that existed during his ten year tenure as Prime Minster, the latter is inspired by India's surgical strike in Kashmir. If yes, then let us know about your reactions.

The movie minted Rs 8.20 crore in its first day and the box office numbers are expected to grow in coming days.

In spite of being a newbie in the film industry, Vicky Kaushal has managed to win the hearts of his audience right from his debut film "Masaan" to delivering some phenomenal performances in "Raazi", "Sanju" and "Manmarziyaan".

It included stairs, a rail system and a wide a passageway that allowed for the movement of equipment and a large number of forces. Only recently has it begun to speak publicly about thwarting the weapons shipments from Iran through Syria into Lebanon.

The "Raazi" star, who plays the role of an army officer in the Aditya Dhar directorial, shows off his action avatar with hard-hitting dialogues, the spirit of patriotism and daring stunts, full of intensity and aggression. But on the other end, one can blame the violent protest going on against the film for its poor box office collection.

Have you watched the film?
