Samsung to launch Galaxy M10 for Rs 7,990, M20 for Rs 10,990

Now, we have learnt that the Galaxy M10 will start at Rs 7,990 for the base variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. "Premium phone" describes handsets like the Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9, iPhone XS, so we should definitely expect a sky-high price tag. Hopefully Samsung won't let more than a month pass between the official announcement of these devices and their actual availability in the market.

Samsung will launch two industry-first Galaxy "M" smartphones in the under Rs 10,000 price segment in India on January 28 that will be available on from March 5.

To recap, the Galaxy Note9 is now Samsung's latest flagship smartphone before the upcoming Galaxy S10 series is announced next month. Both the Galaxy M phones are also said to come with dual rear cameras. Rumours suggest that the Galaxy M10 might not come with a fingerprint scanner and could support only Face Unlock. Powering the Galaxy Note9 is a 4,000mAh battery which supports fast charging via USB-C as well as Fast Wireless charging. Just like the M10, the M20 is also expected to come with a 6.2-inch display, but it is expected to be of full HD+ resolution. Both the Galaxy M10 and M20 will most likely ship with Android Oreo rather than Android Pie with One UI.
