Hugh Jackman's commercial for Ryan Reynolds' gin company is hilariously brutal

Hugh Jackman's commercial for Ryan Reynolds' gin company is hilariously brutal

The latest escapade saw the Vancouver-born actor on the tail end of a holiday prank, courtesy of Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal.

This was Ryan Reynolds reaction to Hugh Jackman's Aviation Gin ad.

Reynolds shared a photo of his misery on Instagram, alongside the caption: "These f*cking assholes said it was a sweater party".

Serial jokester Reynolds flipped the switch hard, sharing a truly touching commercial showing off the loving care poured into Laughing Man at the flagship café in New York City, as well as the global communities both Jackman and the brand supports in creating the product.

They then run Reynold's ad, which delights with vivid imagery and Reynold's flawless salesman tone, and gets even better when he fits in a few Hugh puns.

Texas man dies after e-cigarette explosion

National Basketball Association trade deadline preview: Analyzing Tobias Harris deal, discussing the biggest rumors
As the National Basketball Association trade deadline approaches, there is finally a blockbuster deal done in Los Angeles. After a loss to Toronto, Philadelphia (34-20) now sits at fifth in the Eastern Conference.

Jackman then tells Reynolds he's "not quite ready" to show his ad yet and it still needs editing, but Reynolds says to roll it. He tried to stall, claiming his piece was "almost finished" and still needed some "colour correcting", but Reynolds was adamant and called for the clip to roll.

Just like the cake from Valve's Portal 2 video game, it would appear that Hugh Jackman's truce with Ryan Reynolds to cease heckling one another is public is also a lie.

Then after a short pause, he goes on: "The gin is pretty great though. I'll have to try it some day". He then flicks the bottle cap across the table.

Just days after Hollywood superstars (and real life pals) Hugh Jackman, 50, and Ryan Reynolds, 42, squashed their online "feud, " it appears things are still very much on.

The video then pans back to the studio, with a shocked Jackman and a proud Reynolds. Reynolds plays up the heroic person behind the company, Hugh Jackman, and even highlights that portions of the profits go to charitable causes. Way to go Hugh, way to go.
