Nintendo to release a smaller, cheaper, more portable Switch in 2019

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has confirmed that the January 2018-announced Super Mario movie produced by Illumination Entertainment will launch "around 2022".

The game had been originally scheduled to be available on smartphones by the end of March 2019.

Mario Kart Tour was announced a year ago, and has been in heavy development since. This means that Dr. Mario World could be the first Nintendo mobile game that is the real deal. The newspaper added that Nintendo has already discussed the release with suppliers and game developers.

But, it has had mixed experiences with its mobile content. The Dr. Mario series stretches all the way back to 1990, when the original game hit the NES and Game Boy.
