Williams Racing next in line to reveal 2019 auto

The new colours are starkly different from its previous colours that were a combination of red, grey and black in their first three seasons of F1.

While the American team had announced that its London unveil would feature the new livery, courtesy of the fact that it has a title sponsor in the form of the mysterious, and somewhat elusive, energy drink, Rich Energy, as the wraps were taken off to reveal the new livery, few were expecting the auto to make an appearance.

The American outfit, who finished fifth in last year's constructors' championship, have adopted a black and gold colour scheme following their tie-up with drinks manufacturer Rich Energy.

"This is the time of the season when you hope you've got designs right and you can be competitive straight away", said Gene Haas during the car's unveiling. "Therefore for us it's a great platform and we intend to being in F1 long, long term".

"They've got the best business model in the sport, they are uniquely positioned to exploit regulation changes".
