Senator Elizabeth Warren to formally launch 2020 presidential campaign

Ms Warren announced her campaign in her home state of MA at a mill site where largely immigrant factory workers went on strike about 100 years ago, a fitting forum for the longtime consumer advocate to advance her platform.

She was introduced Saturday by Rep. Joe Kennedy III, D-Mass., who has endorsed her in the primary.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement Saturday that Warren has been "exposed as a fraud by the Native Americans she impersonated and disrespected to advance her professional career, and the people of MA she deceived to get elected".

"The man in the White House is not the cause of what is broken".

In the announcement, she called President Trump "the latest - and most extreme - symptom of what's gone wrong in America".

Arguing that the struggles mill workers faced 100 years ago are similar to those million of American families face today, Warren said she - like the women of Lawrence - is here to say "enough is enough" and take her fight for USA middle class workers to the White House.

"Lawrence has a history of working people coming together to make change, where the fight was hard, the battle was uphill, and where a group of women led the charge for all of us", Warren said in a video promoting her announcement.

Serial killer Bruce McArthur sentenced to 25 years in prison
Now, with the trial over, advocates want to put the focus back on why so many died before police cracked the case. McArthur sexually assaulted and forcibly confined many of his victims before murdering them, court heard.

‘Apex Legends’ Surpasses 10 Million Players, 1 Million Concurrent in 72 Hours
That represents a much faster uptake rate than other wildly popular games like Pokémon Go, Candy Crush, and even Fortnite . Respawn's fledgling battle royale shooter Apex Legends breached 1 million concurrent players within 72 hours of launch.

"This is the fight of our lives". Viewed alongside a new proposal from Sanders to hike the estate tax, Warren has positioned herself at the center of the progressive push to reduce corporate influence in Washington and economic inequality across the country. "Nevertheless, they persisted", she said about the strike, using one of her iconic campaign phrases to applause.

In order to hold large American corporations accountable, she suggested putting workers in "corporate boardrooms where the real decisions are made", break up monopolies when they "choke off competition", take on Wall Street banks and to prosecute companies that "rob their workers". She framed the 1912 walkout by women textile workers as a blueprint for her campaign, one focused on economic inequality.

The 69-year-old from the U.S. state of MA has already become a main target of Trump, who has dubbed Warren "Pocahontas" for previously identifying herself as a Native American, a controversy that has plagued the run-up to her candidacy. The only thing standing in her way is the continued criticism of her claimed Native American heritage.

She's apologized twice over the past two weeks for claiming Native American identity on multiple occasions early in her career, an episode that has created fodder for Republicans and could overshadow her campaign. But I want to be clear.

The plan, according to documents provided by the campaign, would impose a 2% tax on Americans whose net worth exceeds $50 million.

The Boston Globe first reported Kennedy's endorsement on Friday. Tribal activists, who were sharply critical over DNA test and earlier refusal to address the harm it might have done to their interests, have mostly welcomed her apologies.

A challenge for Warren, 69, a regular target of Trump's attacks, is to prove to a Democratic base desperate to defeat Trump that she won't fail them.
