Anthem's Update Roadmap Outlined, Plus BioWare Shares Endgame Details

Strongholds represent some of the longest and most hard challenges in Anthem, and players will need to assemble a team to tackle them. In the second video from the This Is Anthem series, the team focuses on what players can expect from the endgame.

Some of what you'll read has been covered before, but a quick refresher is always handy. Unleash your power as you suit up in one of four javelins and take on a world full of danger. Once you reach Pilot Level 30 - the max level - you can continue to upgrade your javelins by adding higher-level gear to your loadout.

Crafting is another option for getting the best equipment in the game.

Yes, just a month from release, BioWare already has something lined up for Anthem players. Anthem has six total difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Grand Master, Grand Master 2, and Grand Master 3. The last three Grand Master levels of difficulty are the ones unlocked at 30 and increase the difficulty of everything in the game. In addition to all of that, the game will also feature a 16-player social hub called the Launch Bay, where players can show off their favorite gear with their friends and other fellow Freelancers. The higher you set your difficulty, the better chances you'll have to score rare gear and cosmetic items. Completing regular challenges as you carry out your missions will reward you with the raw materials you need to turn those gear drawings into the real thing. As with any live game like this (Destiny, Division, et al), the endgame is arguably more important than the process of working through the main missions and hitting the level cap. Factions that are dishing out contracts and challenges will continuously appear in Fort Tarsis allowing for interesting side quests to complete giving new blueprints, crafting materials, and coins for cosmetics. The rewards will be much greater, though.

Tokyo to use recycled materials for Olympic medals
Around 47,488 tons of old devices had been collected by October a year ago , with more than 5m mobile phones handed over. As of the end of last October, the bodies had collected 93.7 percent of the gold and 85.4 percent of the silver needed.

Geralt of Rivia Now Ensconced in Monster Hunter World on Consoles
This collaboration update is now available on Xbox One and PS4 and will arrive on PC at a later date. In the game, he gets "invited" in the New World via a portal, but he is not alone in the journey.

Pogba is the captain in everything but name, the leader in the dressing room and on the pitch. But these big games coming up will determine where we end up.

Once you reach Anthem's endgame content, you can grab new gear in a variety of ways - all as challenging as they are rewarding. The first update, I gather, will look to evolve Anthem's world in some way, which is especially good news as the patrol zones in the demo felt a bit lifeless.

Fight your way past every obstacle, and you'll be handsomely rewarded with some of the best loot in the game. All of the mission types above can be accessed through Anthem's free-roaming mode, called Freeplay. Obviously, the tougher the setting, the more lucrative the loot that drops. It's rather vague, but you can see these in the images embedded above. Cataclysms are the biggest of the endgame events, changing the game world and unlocking the next step in the Anthem narrative. Cataclysms can include extreme weather, an outbreak of hostile creatures, or more, with players learning to adapt to survive the hostile environment.

Anthem releases February 22nd, 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
