Curry weighs in on Durant's frustration following blowup with media

They got nothing to do with me. I just tell them, "He's playing OK, but he's just not talking right now". Just walk in here, survey and then write something like that, and then now y'all piling on me because I don't want to talk about that.

Asked why he hadn't been speaking with the media lately, Durant said it was a matter of trust - or, more accurately, mistrust.

Strauss responded, saying, "You weren't talking to the media".

Durant is an incredible player, one of the best scorers in National Basketball Association history and a future Hall of Famer. During his first meeting with the media in more than a week, Durant called out Strauss for his reporting about his upcoming free agency.

"Come on, man", Durant said when the topic was broached.

"I just want to play ball".

Asked what his silence related to, Durant - who swapped the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Warriors in 2016 - replied: "Why do you care?" So, when I don't say nothing, it's a problem.

Canada's jobless rate edges higher to 5.8 pct in January
The central bank stayed on the sidelines last month after five hikes since July 2017, and most analysts expect no action. Due to this, the country nearly needs big monthly job numbers just to keep the unemployment rate steady, Porter added.

While many fans will say that Durant acted poorly and is not setting the right image, I have to disagree.

"Now that I don't want to talk [to the media] there's a problem with me. What he can't control is BS that happens in the media or people making the decision for him or all this other stuff". All he had to do was ask - dictaphones, iPhones, and satellite trucks were on the ready.

Meanwhile, he is keeping reporters busy.

Kevin Durant is not happy with the media, but particularly one reporter, The Athletic's Ethan Strauss, who he mentioned by name during his rant.

"I'm done", Durant said. We won without you.

Speculation over Durant's future has intensified during the free agency window after the Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis and other players to the Dallas Mavericks on February 1. However, James' outrageous stat line (33.6 ppg, 12.0 rpg and 10.0 apg while shooting 56 percent from the field and 38 percent from three-point range) and the fact Durant was on a team with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green made sure the player rankings remained status quo. It's best for Durant to recognize he is in the most ideal situation for a player of his skillset. Not really. As Kurtenbach pointed out, the one-year contract he signed last summer was a prime example of an athlete seizing empowerment. If he thinks coverage is extensive now, wait until June.
