Gaza officials: Israeli fire kills 2 Palestinian teens

Israeli troops shot and killed two Palestinian teenagers during protests along the fence separating Israel and the Gaza Strip on Friday.

An Israeli military spokesperson said soldiers on Friday used riot dispersal equipment and opened fired "in accordance with standard operating procedures".

On Sunday, the Gaza Health Ministry said that Ahmed Abu Jabal, 30, succumbed to bullet wounds sustained on the Gaza border the previous week.

The body of Ori Ansbacher, 19, was found in the woods in the West Bank near Jerusalem on Thursday with stabbing wounds.

The enclave's health ministry says more than 220 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli troops at the protests.

Also on Friday, a Palestinian detainee, identified as Yasser Eshteyya Hamed, 36, from Tal village, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, died at the Be'er as-Sabe' (Beersheba) Israeli prison, due to the lack of adequate medical treatment.
