Should the Eagles trade for Antonio Brown?

"Thank you Steeler Nation for a big 9 years.time to move on and forward.#NewDemands", he wrote.

Back before the world would know how much trouble Antonio Brown had caused during the 2018 season and over the years, the Pittsburgh Steelers WR thought it would be a grand idea to speed down the I-279 interchange, the same day of the team's Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers.

Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice, who has kept in contact with Brown, has said Brown wants to join the 49ers. Although Brown is the best receiver "available" this offseason, he comes with a lot of baggage and he's going to cost a lot in a trade.

Talent wise, any team would love to bring someone like Brown on board for the 2019 season if they could receive some sort of guarantee that he wouldn't be a headache to deal with. Some were sad to see Brown leave the team, others were happy to see the controversial player head to greener pastures and then there were the fans who pointed out how absurd the whole announcement was.

The announcement came just hours after it was revealed that Brown was found guilty of reckless driving after not appearing in court today.

Brown has reportedly asked to be released from the team despite being on a four-year, $68 million contract. He has since filed for custody of his daughter in the wake of the alleged incident. Brown has recorded at least 1,200 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in each of those campaigns, with a 1,698-yard, 13-touchdown season in 2014 marking career-highs in both categories.
