Bebe Rexha Addresses Size Discrimination at Grammys Following Viral Video

Now, if we're all looking at the same person, does she look too "big" to wear a designer brand?

The best new artist nominee didn't take "no" for an answer when she was called "too big" by many designers a few weeks ago.

On the red carpet, Rexha also opened up about the outpouring of support she received after opening up about her wardrobe dilemma.

"I'm wearing Monsoori!" Rexha told Entertainment Tonight.

Explaining her predicament to her 7.3 million followers, the singer revealed she would refuse to wear clothes by any designers who raised concerns about her size. "He won Vogue Arabia's No. 1 designer", Rexha gushed.

Turning to the camera, she said, "You wish you would've dressed my fat a*s".

However, not all of the designers who reached out were as supportive as they may have seemed on social media.

"When I was younger I put up a vision board and one of the things that I wanted to always do was be nominated for Best New Artist", Rexha candidly revealed in the clip. "And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers, and they'll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet, right So I had my team hit [up] a lot of designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I'm too big". She's a size 6-8. "Fuck you, I don't want to wear your fucking dresses".

"You're saying all the women in the world that are a size 8 and up are not attractive and that they can not wear your dresses".

Fans and fellow celebrities applauded Bebe Rexha for calling out designers who made it seem as though women who are not a size 0 aren't considered handsome.

Designer August Getty responded to the post asking Rexha when he should start sketching, and he ultimately designed two dresses for the 29-year-old for events leading up to the Grammys.

Rexha told E! on the red carpet, "I just did the video because I was really heartbroken and it bummed me out..."
