Broncos Agree To Acquire Joe Flacco From Ravens

By trading Flacco, Baltimore will have $16 million on their dead cap for 2019.

The Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement to trade quarterback Joe Flacco to the Broncos, according to ESPN. The trade can not be made official until the National Football League year begins on March 13, he says. Baltimore will receive a mid-round pick in return, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Adding insult to injury, Darren Rovell reports the Ravens paid Flacco $73 million for those 51 games in which he won just 47 percent of his starts.

With Jackson on a rookie contract, Baltimore should have some of the most cap space in the league in the coming years. He spent 11 seasons with the Ravens and was the MVP of their Super Bowl triumph over the San Francisco 49ers to conclude the 2012 season.
