Toronto Raptors to sign veteran point guard Jeremy Lin

D'Angelo Russell had 28 points and 14 assists for the Nets.

After Leonard gave Toronto the lead with a 15-footer with 1:06 left, Harris closed the first half with two 3-pointers to give Brooklyn a 60-56 lead. And the team announced Monday that backup guard Fred VanVleet will be sidelined for three weeks with a ligament injury in his thumb. VanVleet was hurt in the second quarter of Saturday's (Sunday, PHL time) win at NY.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported earlier in the day that he is expected to join the Raptors once he clears waivers.

Lin, 30, will be joining his sixth team since Linsanity ended in 2012 - and seventh overall - and likely soon will make his fourth career playoff appearance, joining a Raptors (41-16) team with the second best record in the Eastern Conference.

Should the Eagles trade for Antonio Brown?
Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice, who has kept in contact with Brown, has said Brown wants to join the 49ers. Brown has reportedly asked to be released from the team despite being on a four-year, $68 million contract.

Harris scored 15 points to lead Brooklyn to a 29-21 lead after the first quarter. The five three-pointers are the most Harris has ever made in a single quarter, and matched his season-high for an entire game.

But Crabbe later hit back-to-back 3-pointers to tie the game with 1:34 remaining at 120. F DeMarre Carroll (left knee) was not available.

Still, things haven't been quite as good for the Raptors of late as they were during their torrid start to the season, and at home on Monday they found themselves in a dog fight with the Nets - who seemingly are in a tight game every night. Musician Sting attended the game.
