Why Kate Middleton had to apologise to BAFTA guests

The BAFTA Film Awards were held Sunday in London's Royal Albert Hall where William and Kate walked the red carpet.

Kate Middleton's dress for BAFTAs 2019 was something many had been looking forward to, and the Duchess of Cambridge certainly didn't disappoint. The gorgeous chiffon dress featured a cinched-waist and floral embellishments on her left shoulder.

Kate and William have attended the awards ceremony together every year since William was made President in 2010.

She accessorised the stunning gown with glittering silver stilettos and striking pearl and diamanté earrings and a bracelet, believed to have belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana. See photos of Middleton's and Prince William's looks at the 2019 BAFTAs below!

In an interview with The Sunday Times, the 36-year-old mom of one shared that she's adopted this parenting technique with her almost 2-year-old son, Jonathan.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has outshone some of Hollywood's biggest stars as a special guest at the British Academy Film Awards.

Meanwhile, Prince William presented the Fellowship Award to film editor Thelma Schoonmaker during this year's ceremony.
