DUP To Vote Against Amended Brexit Deal

Given the size of the prime minister's defeat yesterday, as well the EU's opposition to rolling calls for delay from the United Kingdom, some may believe a longer delay is necessary to give the United Kingdom enough space to agree its next steps.

If MPs reject no-deal - as most Westminster observers expect - a third vote will follow on Thursday on whether to request an extension of the two-year Article 50 negotiation process, delaying Brexit by a number of months. We could leave on 29 March as suggested.

Derbyshire MPs will vote on Theresa May's revised Brexit deal tonight.

It's tough to say exactly what was priced in for this vote but I would peg it around 240 votes in favour.

The revised agreement package, reached in Starsbourg on Monday evening, was rejected in the House of Commons by 391 to 242; its previous version was resoundingly voted down in January.

Iain Duncan Smith, the former Conservative leader, said: "I am surprised it is a free vote".

"I don't say it's going to happen, but clearly if a government can't get through on the one issue which we were really elected to deal with at the last election it puts us all in a very hard situation".

"So, if we have to have a general election to see where the people want to take the country, then that's what we have to do".

John Vandemoor, a former Stanford University sailing coach, is also scheduled to plead guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges . Meredith, authorities say, accepted bribes to bring Yale applicants onto the team "regardless of their athletic ability".

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said the government must accept its deal does not have the support of the House.

"It is clear that a lack of certainty is the number one concern for many", Mr Lamont said.

Glyn Davies, Tory MP for Montgomeryshire, said: "A general election is no more than a possibility but the odds have shortened". Voting against leaving without a deal and for an extension does not solve the problems we face.

Under the no deal plan revealed this morning, 87 per cent of products would be subject to zero tariffs in an effort to stop price spikes and kick-start trade with Britain from across the world. It's a big defeat and means they need to get at least 50 people to switch their votes, which is a longshot.

"And that again puts another risk on not having Brexit at all".

"Therefore I want colleagues to come together, as the prime minister has been working in the national interest, seeking to bring the country together", he said.

Pro-EU Labour Cardiff Central MP Jo Stevens said: "You've got to wonder what more [Theresa May] could try and do".

Or could she decide that she has done what she can to execute the revealed will of the British people to leave the European Union, against the constant opposition of MPs from all sides, and it may now be time for another prime minister to finish the job.
