Gmail Is Having A Massive Outage In Australia Right Now

Many users in Australia, the US, Europe and Asia reported outages with Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Drive, The Guardian reported. Many users across the globe are reporting issues while using Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and other Google services.

In a statement, Google too has acknowledged the issue.

As of 1pm, the issues were still continuing for some users.

A spokeswoman for Google said it was aware of the problem and people should visit the Google status dashboard for details. This includes Gmail and Drive. So far, about 47 per cent of the complaints are difficulty in sending emails. Drive: "Upload and download of files", said the company in the latest update posted at 10.14 am. When trying to send an e-mail, instead of delivering the message, users receive the notice "Message could not be sent".

If we compare this to most shows on network TV, then the first two episodes are comparable to an hour-long show with no ad-breaks.
