Senator Mitt Romney got a sweet surprise for his birthday, and it featured his favorite snack.

"You may think you don't need to watch this video of Mitt Romney getting a cake made out of twinkies, but otherwise how will you find out what completely freakish way Mitt Romney blows out birthday candles", one user wrote.

After the Twinkie pile is placed on his desk, Romney proceeds to blow out the candles.

At this point it'd be nearly disappointing if he blew out his birthday candles the way a normal person does.

Many are giving Romney credit for his germ-free way of blowing out birthday candles.

TMZ caught up with Romney later Tuesday and asked him to explain his technique.
