‘Transformative’ buy could lift Apple TV subs to 100 million

Apple's special event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California at 10am PT. We may also get a sense of Apple's rumored Apple News-related subscription offering around things like newspapers and magazines, assuming the company has been able to smooth over disagreements with publishers that have apparently threatened to delay that announcement.

"If Apple executes with minimal speed bumps and aggressively acquires content given the company's massive installed base and unmatched brand loyalty", the analysts write, then reaching 100 million subs for this new service in the 3-to-5-year timeframe seems a realistic target. Wall Street, meanwhile, believes services will become a more important component of Apple's business.

"We will participate in the original content world", Cook said while discussing Apple's plans for video content including a partnership with Oprah Winfrey.

The Browns make a blockbuster trade for Odell Beckham Jr
Beckham's productivity on the field is still unmatched despite missing four games this past season and 11 games in 2017. He registered 77 receptions for 1,052 yards with six touchdowns through 12 starts with the Giants in 2018.

The TV service is expected to launch globally, an ambitious move to rival services from Netflix Inc and Amazon.com Inc.'s Prime Video.

In its invitation, Apple did not specify the focus of the event and gave a single-line description: "It's show time". The shows are expected to cover a variety of genres that include drama, documentary, comedy, kids program, etc. Apple has been closely working with former Sony Pictures executives Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht for the shows that are expected to be released during late 2019. The report also mentioned Apple is in talks with various celebrities for attending the event celebrities like Jennifer Anniston, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon and director JJ Abrams.

The company pitched the event on Monday with the tagline "It's show time". The company was rumoured to be holding an event on March 25 before, and it's now sending out official invites to the press this evening. Previously, the company has launched the iPhone SE, the budget $329 iPad and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
