Romelu Lukaku to miss Manchester United's FA Cup tie with Wolves

United's list of absentees have shortened ahead of the match, but Lukaku may well be missing after aggravating a foot complaint in last weekend's 2-0 loss at Arsenal.

"We're still getting players [back]", Solksjaer told MUTV.

"But we all feel quite confident that maybe it is a situation where every day, or every 24 hours, it can change a lot".

"And the FA Cup is a really important trophy and it's a massive match coming up this Saturday at Wolves, but we'll go there and give everything we've got".

United have been boosted by the return of Ander Herrera as the Spaniard is expected to be named in the squad after taking part in full training this week following a hamstring injury.

There have been mixed reports over whether Juan Mata will be fit or miss out as well.

Man Utd will be without Ashley Young due to suspension so Diogo Dalot could start at right-back against Wolves while Luke Shaw should keep his place at left-back as he's been virtually ever-present under Solskjaer in recent months. "He's not been on grass yet".

Alexis Sanchez is out with a knee injury and Solskjaer said the forward was seeking treatment in Barcelona and "still a few weeks away" from returning to fitness. "You can never be 100 per cent sure, of course, but Alexis is such a determined lad. So, I'm sure he's doing everything he can (so) that when he comes back he's going to show his best side", he said.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that David Beckham is set to join Man United mates to celebrate 20th anniversary of their 2-1 Champions League comeback win over Bayern Munich as both teams clash again in a friendly.

It would also be the first time they have played at the "new" Wembley in a cup competition since it was rebuilt in 2007.
