Professional gambler sets record 1-day win total on 'Jeopardy!'

James Holzhauer, a 34-year-old professional sports gambler from Las Vegas, won Tuesday's episode with a total of $110,914. Tuesday night with a $110,914 haul. The previous record holder was Roger Craig, who, in September 2010, won $77,000 in a single day on Jeopardy!

James Holzhauer really appears to have all of the answers.

While plenty of viewers were no doubt scratching their heads at that one, Holzhauer correctly wrote down "WHAT IS QUANTUM LEAP".

His final wager was carefully chosen so that he could end up with exactly $110,914, a number he has admitted references his daughter's birthday of November 9, 2014.
