Kim Kardashian reveals she's Studying to Become a Lawyer

Even the savviest of Kardashian konnoisseurs were surprised to discover that one of reality television's first daughters is studying to become a lawyer, as she told Vogue magazine in a cover story published Wednesday. "I don't pay attention to that anymore", she said. She said she was inspired to study law after successfully petitioning US President Donald Trump past year to pardon Alice Marie Johnson.

Kardashian West touched on her admiration for the former US First Lady in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians filmed ahead of her visit to the White House.

"I had to think long and hard about this", she said.

Clemency is when someone is pardoned from a crime they are accused of having committed and it is declared that they are not guilty.

"I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed", she says. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case. I need to know more. Kim went on to say, "I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more".

Kim Kardashian West is headed to court.

Not only that, she's continued to work on prison reform by visiting prisons, the White House and state officials, such as California Governor Gavin Newsom.

The feature fairly suggests Trump was liable to listen to Kardashian on account of her fame and similar background as a reality TV star.

Cyntoia was released earlier this year.

Given the above, it would appear that the 38-year-old socialite has a natural aptitude for criminal law, just like her father, Robert Kardashian, a U.S. defence lawyer who famously worked on OJ Simpson's murder trial.

"First year of law school, you have to cover three subjects: criminal law, torts, and contracts", Kardashian told Vogue. "I've got the Kennedy strength... with me". In California, you can become a lawyer without graduating college if you apprentice with a practicing lawyer or judge. The reading is what really gets me. Kardashian, who does not have an undergraduate degree, either, has been logging 18 hours of weekly supervised study since July, according to Vogue. Super easy for me.

In a few months, Kim will face her first big test, which she must pass to continue with the three additional years of study she needs to do before sitting down for the bar exam. "It's so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds", Kardashian revealed.
