The Masters: Tiger Woods' winning putt to claim 15th major title

13 years since his last win at Augusta, Woods turned back the clock to win his first major since the 2008 US Open to complete a remarkable comeback following several back surgeries. Today, Tiger Woods claimed his 15th major and fifth victory at the Masters.

"I was just trying to plod my way around all day". And when I made the putt I don't know what I did but I screamed.

" To have my kids there, it's come full circle".

"I'm a little hoarse from yelling", Woods said after the round. "My dad was here in 1997 and now I'm the dad with two kids there".

"It's overwhelming. Because of what transpired a year ago - I was lucky to be playing again".

Life has a nasty habit of intruding and scuppering even the best laid plans, and life had certainly intervened in its inimitable way with Tiger Woods.

Instagram Now Demotes Vaguely 'Inappropriate' Content
Content that is considered in bad taste, lewd, violent or hurtful could also see a sharp decline in views. In its latest attempt to weed out inappropriate posts, Instagram has become even harsher than before.

The years since his last major victory have been drama-filled for Woods.

All those moments built to Sunday, when Woods was once again his old familiar dominating self.

Woods was briefly three strokes behind 54-hole leader Francesco Molinari, only to post three birdies in a three-hole stretch from the 13th to take a two-stroke lead into the par-four last.

The American, who shared the first-round lead at Augusta National, reacted with understandable delight as he hugged his playing companion Takumi Kanaya. The two double bogeys ended his Green Jacket bid.

Officials changed the format for the final round - switching play to groups of three instead of two, and having golfers start from two separate tees, the 1st and the 18th.
